John 8:21-32 the TRUTH will set you FREE

John 8: 31-32

31 Jesus went on to say to the Jews who believed in him: "You will be my true disciples if you keep my word.
32 Then you will know the truth and the truth will make you free."

PRAYER IS TO LISTEN TO GOD WHO SPEAKS TO US THROUGH HIS WORD

hello everyone! this is our bible verse for the day and i hope you will share a little of your experience about this verse :)

i have understood prayer as a one-way process, meaning, only ME talking to GOD. but for today.. i am reminded that in prayer, i should be listening to God, because HE, too, speaks to me through HIS Word!! and you know what? it helps a LOT! i can truly feel that i am communicating to the MOST HIGH, to the SAVIOR of mankind, who is also my BEST FRIEND!!.

and in John 8, God is telling me to be His true disciple, to keep His Word, to live with it everyday and the reward will be FREEDOM.. freedom from my worries, from the chains i put myself, from the people i fear to and freedom from everything as in TOTAL FREEDOM! and this is because of His TRUTH! :)

isn't it amazing? 

on my experience, every time i pray, i experience the newness of God, i experience His being Amazing all over again and that He is indeed a GOD of surprises!!!
